That we toil away in needless contradiction is an acute revelation of our current monetary system that no other book explains in such comprehensible imagery.

We are jobless, yet our willingness to work has not changed. We make unparalleled technological advancements, yet implement few. In plenty, we still want. And while every economic recession exposes these flaws, they are invariably veiled by a later recovery. But recoveries only assuage our suffering--never resolve it.

Nevin achieves in not only inspiring a new money mentality, but also providing practical solutions to our current economic crisis and the restraints imposed on our happiness.

The way pundits and officials explain the economy is often so cryptic that I often shy away from the issue altogether, but now that I have read this book, I feel confident I can join the discussion and demand action be taken. I highly recommend it.
